White bar at the bottom when in landscape orientation - iOS - iPhone

Viewport resizing in Safari / iOS still giving us trouble. I spent a few hours unsuccessfully looking for a solution. Found a couple of suggested fixes in the links below. I couldn't make it work.

It reproduces with any scene. To file this issue I tested with the hello world
