positional audio seems broken in AR Mode

Description:

Positional Audio is working bad in AR-Mode on any AR capable device. Sound is cracking and distorted. Sometimes its working well with linear falloff but then there is no effect. Acting strangly. Tried also with different audio sources (MP3, Ogg).

It's working fine in Normal Mode without VR / AR

  • A-Frame Version: 1.20
  • Platform / Device: Ipad 6th Gen with WebXR Viewer, Samsung Tab S6, Samsung S8, Pixel 4 all with chrome and Samsung Internet
  • Reproducible Code Snippet or URL: https://pebble-screeching-creator.glitch.me/ Press AR Button and place the Cube and go near it

What about VR mode?

It happens only on AR. I've tested it on Deskop VR, there it is working fine. Wanted to try it on the Quest 2, but couldn't access vr mode there. (sry writing from my private account)

VR mode should work on Quest. Are not the examples working for you in the Oculus Browser? https://aframe.io/aframe/examples/
