Loading progress for large files

When loading a huge file, the application seems to load nothing: during the loading, a transparent image is shown during the loading of the image without further information.

User feedback must be provided, either through a progress bar or with a message.

When the image is quick enough to load, no further information shall be displayed to avoid pop-up spamming as it is in its current state.
