Task wakes too often in release mode when used with `async_std`

Tested with `futures 0.3.31` and `async-tungstenite =0.26.1`, the problem _does not seem_ to appear, unlike with `futures =0.3.30` and `async-tungstenite =0.26.1`.

An attempt to make `clippy` and `rustc` complain less

Sorry for a total mess of a PR, but I just actually don't know if this is maintained and what direction other people want this project moving.
