These are the exchange rates I have defined. I cannot edit / add to them though... any changes are just not saved.

I also get this when I try to sync market data

It just appears stuck in a currency doom loop. but i cannot add/remove/edit any of the currencies...

Try clicking on the history icon of an exchange rate. Then toggle the Manual Data Source to be able to edit/delete the exchange rate. The data market sync and fetching errors were silent in the previous version. The tickers in the error message are not available in Yahoo Finance. You need to switch them to the manual Data Source and update/import quotes manually.

I got it to work briefly, then i tried to add some securities i sold and i've lost the dashboard again.

I've also set up the docker container to run it as a web server, and i'm trying to import my CSVs into this from a blank database.

Bizarrely in one account I have access to the GBX currency, but not in the other... the 2 screen shots below are me just changing the filter to include one vs 2 accounts, but no matter what i cannot change the GBP to GBX for securities in the second account.

Hello, I have a similar issue with portfolio recalculation - mine finishes, but with similar error. It seems to be an issue with GBp and GBX.

Issue with GBp

When adding for example IITU.L, it loads wrong exchange rate from YAHOO finance - it loads exchange rate for CZK/GBP and not CZK/GBp. This leads to silently wrong calculations.

Issue with GBX

When adding IITU.L in GBX currency, it fails to update market data, trying to load non-existing CZK/GBX exchange rate:

Although not ideal, I tried manually adding CZK/GBX exchange rate which fixed the issue with loading market data, but it seems like it does not take the holding into account whatsoever:

Other issues

1. Also, as mentioned in previous discussions, it seems like deleting the exchange rates is not possible at all. Clicking on them just resets them to 0.
2. Setting up GBX -> GBP or GBp -> GBP exchange rate doesn't seem to be taken into account.
3. Once IITU.L appeared in the portfolio, the history chart stopped being updated from that date for all other holdings, see:

I used trial and error to work it down to incorrect tickers that did not have the correct .L added. And a currency error.

Now everything is working as intended.

An ability to edit tickers /data on the final step before importing would be good.

I've just written a python script to convert my csv file prior to importing which works.

Since v2.1,

• The app now normalizes the amount from minor currencies (GBp, GBX) to the major currency GBP.
• It also allows you to delete and recreate exchange rates (Settings -> General) and delete unused tickers (in Settings -> Securities).

Can you please check and let me know if things work correctly?

@afadil My findings after v2.1 update:

1. The portfolio recalculation finishes without any issue right now and seems to be correct (no more silent wrong re-calculations).
2. Deleting the exchange rate works OK.
3. Deleting unused tickers does not. It tells me that I can't delete the security, because it has existing activities. I checked my activities using search and also manually but I haven't found a single one. It's IITU that I later changed to IITU.L.
4. The portfolio chart still doesn't update for me after the point IITU.L was bought (see my previous comment).
