App does not update

Every time I open the app, it pops up a message saying that there's a new version available. After clicking "OK," nothing happens, and if I keep the app open for some time, an Ubuntu error message pops up asking if I want to report the error and re-open the app.

I'm running Wealthfolio v1.0.20 on Ubuntu 24.04.

I had to uninstall and install it manually (using the .deb file available here on GitHub). However, the problem is still occurring in version 1.0.23.
