Shouldn't it also provide a list view?

Yes, didn't prioritize it because we don't use a list view on our site.

from_email should accept None and set DEFAULT_FROM_EMAIL in that case

I believe the idea here was to mimic as close as possible the arguments of [django.core.mail.send_mail](https://docs.djangoproject.com/en/1.10/topics/email/#django.core.mail.send_mail) If we decide to change, what would be the correct approach to do this...
