On app load after update to Android v2.24.2, settings tab has a red dot for no reason.

To Reproduce Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Open app
  2. See error

Expected behavior A notification dot should only bring attention to important state or info in the relevant tab.

I assumed it was as well! I saw the release notes and gladly updated, only to see the dot again. :shakesfistatcloud:

Can you please check in the Android Play Store that you have the latest version? If that doesn't work, try deleting the app and reinstall.

It should be impossible for this error to occur with the latest version.

I dont use the play store, I install from Github using Obtainium.

This isnt important enough (to me) for me to lose my config and logins (three accounts), and I can fix by force closing and clearing cache. I prefer not to uninstall reinstall, but would be happy to provide any other information you need.

Want to add, I have the version from F-droid. It reports that I have 2.24.2 installed, but Voyager reports the old version.

I forced stopped the app and cleared cache and it resolved my problem.

Good catch on the self-reported version mismatch.

I forced stopped the app and cleared cache and it resolved my problem.

Voyager now shows the correct version, right? I expect this is the case, but I'm leaving mine in the errored state in case @aeharding needs me to gather info.

Yes, the correct version is shown in app now.
