Default feed isn’t persistent

Describe the bug My default feed keeps on resetting to home, when I’m one of those weirdos who mostly browses all.

To Reproduce Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. Unknown? It just keeps on randomly resetting to Home. Other settings seem persistent but I haven’t tweaked much. I assume the iOS app is mostly just a fancy loader for a web app, so maybe it’s not persisting through updates?

Expected behavior My default feed stays on all.

Smartphone:

• Device: iPhone 15 Pro
• OS: iOS 17.6.1 and more

Hey there!

Can you force close the app and reopen? If that fixes it (or restarting the device), then it is probably an iOS bug, specifically https://bugs.webkit.org/show_bug.cgi?id=277615. Apple attempted to fix this but the fix didn't work. Hopefully we see an actual fix soon.

(This bug does not happen on Android, FWIW.)

I haven’t taken the plunge to iOS 18. Do we know if this has been observed on that version?
