Login menu pop-up lags

Describe the bug There is a significant lag when pressing the login button and the "welcome" modal popping up

To Reproduce

  • Open the web app in incognito
  • Press the instance button to get to the login page
  • Press the login button

  • Device: S23 Ultra
  • OS: Android
  • Browser: Chrome

Is there lag if you switch to Android mode and open the dialog?

I believe this is just Chrome being a bit less efficient that Safari at animations. So if its better in Android mode it might be possible to always force android mode for the login dialog.

There is no lag in android mode, it seems like.

Curiously, there is no lag in apple mode, when opening the pop-up on a chromium based browser (Edge for Linux) on a PC
