This is of course not an issue on mobile, but on desktop browsers, the text selection cursor is appearing throughout the interface, and a "pointer" (finger hand) cursor would be more appropriate.

Might want to make liberal use of "select:none" as well? Can't really do much with text selections since the mouse up event is often invoking a collapse/expand action?
