Are there any plans to fix Clippings on Thunderbird 59+

It doesn't work on earlybird builds . For example any build from https://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/thunderbird/nightly/latest-comm-central/ Thanks

Clippings 5.5.x for Thunderbird needs updating due to APIs that have been recently changed, as described here: https://wiki.mozilla.org/Thunderbird/Add-ons_Guide_57

This will require a new release. Until then, if you still need Clippings, stick with Thunderbird 52.x.

Some new and relevant news:

  • Thunderbird 60 has been released.
  • Thunderbird has moved off of AMO to it's own add-ons site at https://addons.thunderbird.net/ where I don't see Clippings listed yet.

Thanks @chrisilias for the heads up. There is still much work needed on Clippings for Thunderbird before it is ready for release. More info is given in this blog post.
