[Bug]: Listen statistics not correct
Describe the issue
I see listening statistics are wrong. it recorded faultly 150hrs+ of listening to a single 8hr audiobook in one day by a single user.
Steps to reproduce the issue
- I do not know, just listened to the title for about 20 minutes on the phone.
Audiobookshelf version
2.7.2
How are you running audiobookshelf?
Debian/PPA
iOS or Android? Do you leave the app open in the background? This is a duplicate issue but I'll have to find the other issue later
Android. I did not find anything related via search. I did not let the app in the background. when I was done listening i paused and closed the app (not just exiting to home). It is just not plausible data to listen 150hrs in a 24hr day...
I compared log times, the thing what I did during I listened to the track was to restart my nginx reverse proxy. (not on the same machine where audiobookshelf is living)
This also is/ was an issue on iOS. I had some sessions being thousands of hours long. Sometimes only a few hours or days apart. I did not notice a bug like that in the last time tho. The last time I am sure that happened was Summer last year.
I deleted most of them but I found this, must've overlooked when deleting flase entries:
These are only 30min - 3h apart, but register as 2-10h
I looked into the time of the users of my ABS Server and noticed, that in my moms history it says she listened total to 6:18h, but I know for a fact she listened to multiple audiobooks completely, totaling about 45h.
There are many playback entries in the list which have a duration of 0s. But the book still progresses from session to session.
First time this seemed to have happened was 2 months ago.
Also many entries that should be in the history seems to just be missing.
I have the same issue with the iOS app, often entire book gets added as one session at the end of listening.
Server is only about a week old and I am seeing listening sessions that are 170 days long. An overnight example.
This is my personal statistic:
I was listening a lot on Sunday and less on Monday. But the time is on the wrong day.
I have also found this happens mostly with downloaded books on my iOS. It seems to happen when my audiobookshelf container disconnects and I don't realize it disconnected.
I listen roughly 3 hours a day. A hour and a half on the way to work, and an hour and a half on the way home.
