Freezes during shutdown
If I tell the machine to shut down using the graphical interface, it often freezes with a screen showing only the background. I can still do Ctrl+Alt+F1 to switch into a terminal login, login and issue sudo reboot now successfully from there to shut down. If I reboot the computer and issue a shutdown in the graphical interface immediately after logging in, the shutdown does work, but it fails if the machine has been on and active for a few hours. The caps-key light does not flash, so I don't think this is a kernel panic event but otherwise I'm not clear what is causing the machine to hang. I'm on the XPS 13 developer edition on a fresh 15.04 install with minimal modification (added drivers for wireless and bluetooth).
This might be a Unity bug. I don't have any issues like this using Gnome 3 on Arch.
