Installer does not work on Windows 10 with no admin access

  • Operating System (Platform and Version): Windows 10 (No Admin access)

Seems I can't run installer on Windows 10 User only mode.

Could you please help?

Hi, THank you for the issue report.

I am sorry for so late response. Got super busy in recent weeks. The application needs admin privileges when installing because it registers a file protocol with the system to open files from Google Drive. I don't really have any alternatives right now as the builder I am using does not generate windows portable artefacts. I will take a look into this with the upcoming version 16.

There should be an option to register that only for current user.

It will be nice to have a solution.
