Linux/Firefox only(?): Copy and paste operations into the list of bibcodes search box seem to get stuck in paste mode
Expected Behavior
A linux user has a list of bibcodes in a text file or text window, where the bibcodes are formatted one per line (possibly including the cr/lf at the end of the line). They copy and paste the list into the Paper Form's "List of Bibcodes" box. They click the submit button, and get their search results back.
Actual Behavior
If you paste and then move the mouse to the Search button, the button is grayed out and has the slashed circle symbol.
If the cursor is moved within this window, with either the mouse or arrow keys, the button is active again.
Steps to Reproduce
In Linux, open a Firefox window and load https://ui.adsabs.harvard.edu/paper-form . Log in if you are not already logged in (the List of Bibcodes search option must be visible). From a text file containing one bibcode per line, copy and paste this into the List of Bibcodes box. Without doing anything else after pasting the content, move the mouse to the Search button.
I'm not sure if this is a linux window manager issue, a linux Firefox issue, or a bumblebee issue.
@seasidesparrow I haven't been able to replicate this on firefox 67.0.2 (64-bit) on Ubuntu 18.04. Can you reproduce it and send me the list you're using and maybe a screenshot? I'm guessing that pasting in isn't triggering the jquery event or something, maybe something else is going on? let me know!
@thostetler I'm using LinuxMint 18.3 (based on Ubuntu) as a VirtualBox machine, and Firefox 67.0.2.
I had the following list of bibcodes in a text file, and copy-pasted them into the bibcode window. Immediately after pasting, the "Search" button appears grayed out with a slashed circle over it. I can bring back the Search button just by moving the cursor around with the arrow keys.
