Multiple cats

A variable could be added to determine number of cats Now to make it nicer, all other cats could wonder around randomly and only one would follow a mouse Then after random duration of time, a new cat could be chose as a chaser letting the previous cat wonder This way a different cats could follow the mouse and they could switch places

A colored fur also could be added with this. Not sure how complicated would it be to change the white color on the fly
