Smarter parsing of URL's in branch flask-frontend

Right now, the bar only works without whitespace and with a gist number or url. Would be nice if it could handle referrer (e.g., bit.ly/...) links to gists. Maybe in the future, can support archives of csv + json (zip or tarballs).
