Any chance for the openfortivpn to listen to local socks5 port? Because this feature will be convenient for openfortivpn to share VPN connection to others in local LAN.

I may be wrong, but it seems to me this can be achieved outside openfortivpn. Does this need to be implemented inside openfortivpn?

You can have a look at the "https://github.com/octeep/wireproxy" project. It shows conveniences for implementing inside socks5, whereas using other socks5 app over openfortivpn is more work.
