Display items which mention the current user (e.g. @me)

Proposed by Josh Roman, by email:

Any chance you can add an option to see all checklist items tagged with current user (ie. @me) ?

Proposed by Danny (donator):

Do you have any plans for an option to see only those list items that @mention me? I think that would help declutter my view.

Some background about why I use mentions in list items…

Instead of the usual one card per task approach, my team uses cards to represent outcomes and lists to store all of the separate steps that go towards that outcome.

So, to use the simple example of making a sandwich; the card would have the outcome as it’s title, something like: "Make sure there are sandwiches", and the list might comprise items like:

  • @ben buy ingredients (bread, butter, jam)
  • @matt make sandwiches

Thanks for sharing your use of mentions in checklist items, @dannyhope !

Would you be interested in contributing this feature directly into this repository by proposing a pull-request?

I would if I could but alas I’m just a designer, not a developer.

Ahhh, the fact that you were on Github gave me some hope...

Unfortunately, I don't want to write new features of NS4Trello at the moment.

My philosophy is to empower other developers to contribute using pull requests, and merge them if they don't bloat the product too much. So, if you find a developer who may be interested to add that feature, feel free to let them know that their contribution would be welcome :-)
