Ignore / skip / hide / disable for particular checklists

Requested by Dan Strike:

I was wondering if there could be a feature added to prevent particular lists from appearing on the card's front. I ask because sometimes one checklist will be too long and blow out the Trello board.

Perhaps the user could add "[hide]" at the end of the checklist name for example, making it never appear on the card front even if the board setting says otherwise. Similarly, "Checklist [show]" could make a checklist always appear on the card front... if that's worth anything.

Currently I use the "First Checklist" mode, and then create a fake first checklist as a workaround.

ability to filter by checklist name / an option to show only the tasks in a checklist named X (where user is able to input X)

Add a way to expand the checklists only for certain cards or lists. I'd like to use the checklists for visualization of a few long-running goal cards. But I don't necessarily want all other (task-level) cards to expand. Maybe there can be some sort of text filter added, to match cards or lists, to either include or exclude them?
