My feedback to #ns4trello: Extremely useful extension, thank you for that! I would like to see a "Show next 'n' steps" because one per card isn't enough in every case, all per card can be way tooo many...

I'd like to select the list that shows and select the number of items that show from the list.

"Allow 1, 2, 3 or All items from checklists..." Hi, Love the product, very helpful. What if the options were: Hidden Per Card > 1 | 2 | 3 | All Per Checklist > 1 | 2 | 3 | All All Steps Regards, Per

additional info:

Here you go - I'd prefer to have more than just 1 item listed per list. E.g. the next item and the one (or two) after that. So maybe this menu suggestion is more clear:

Hidden 1 per Card 2 per Card 1 per Checklist 2 per Checklist All Steps

Or, even better - a menu item to chose the # to show (1, 2, 3, 4 ... All) and a selection of Hidden | Per Card | Per Checklist

Number to Show > 1 | 2 | 3 | 4 | 5 | All Hide All Show # Items Per Card Show # Items Per Checklist

I have two reasons for the request:

  • I could easily crank up the # without having to open all cards to see the items-after-next.

  • another thing I often do is add a "Milestones" checklist with date on them. They don't show up on the calendar but seeing upcoming dates across all the cards is very, very handy.

My reply:

I understand that more customisation might improve your workflow. It would also make the menu more complex, and hence the extension harder to use for other people who don't need it...

=> Would you be ok to pay a few bucks per month, if I made and maintained a separate version of this extension containing this feature?

Displaying checklists on the card is extremely helpful and very nice idea, I love this extension and its multiple choices , one thing that I wish I can control the number of items per checklist, I mean somtimes only one is not enough and you do not need all of them in case of long lists; in this case: I wish I can set the number of displayed items, for example, the first X items of each checklist (where I can set X to some value like 3).
