Waiting for USB connection on Choose a Wi-Fi Network screen

Hello.

I am experiencinmg an issue where i am not connected to a network, but iproxy is "waiting for a usb connection" even though its connected. I am running Mac OSX El Capitan with an iPhone 5s 12.5.5.

Any help will be appreciated greatly.

Try with different USB cable

i just tried with a different cable and every other port in my iMac and it's doing the same thing.

Something else to note is I don't think either sshpass or iproxy are fully installing, as the installation prompt shows up when running, no matter if I restart my machine or not,

Have you tried with different usb cable? Maybe the official apple one?
