error with onSubmit & connecting to database

Honestly for the life of me cannot figure out why the onSubmit is throwing an error but I'm pretty sure that's one of the main issues why i'm having issues connecting to the database. I'm about two hours into the video and think I've just been looking at code for too long to figure it out.

I think you have not defined the onSubmit function which is an asynchronous function. Kindly go through the completed code

I have several times over the last two weeks, still ends with the same error. I've gone through the video and manually retyped everything at least once a day the last two weeks, nothing is working.
