setNativeProps is deprecated. Part-Time, Full-time, Contractor buttons not working

setNativeProps is deprecated. How would I update props using React state instead?

Also the buttons "Part-Time", "Full-Time" etc are not linked to the API server. How would I add them to provide the information.

I appreciate any feedback.
