Can we use this package for "hosting" XML sitemap file ?

Hello,

I am trying to add a sitemap to my flutter website. I tried using this package, and it seems to work. But when I set the url of my sitemap on the Google Search Console I had this message : Your sitemap appears to be an HTML page. Please use a supported sitemap format..

Do you have any idea about how I can fix this ? Thank you Benjamin
