Currently, when I tap the app (it doesn't matter if the session is started or paused), the timer "jumps":

I experienced the same behaviour in my device too. As far as I've observed this seems to be an issue only if the screen has a pinhole (notch might work too). When I turned off the display near the pinhole via device settings the "jump" doesn't happen for me.
