Move the Eclipse Temurin download count closer (below) to the download CTA

Currently, the total downloads number (~731M) is placed further down the homepage and while this number is one of our strongest proof points, it requires scrolling to see it.

When someone is deciding whether to click “download,” showing that Temurin has already been trusted by hundreds of millions of developers gives instant credibility and reassurance. and I think it’s also a clear signal of community adoption and stability.

Would love your thoughts on moving this up below the Download button. Could we consider adjusting the placement? @gdams and @smlambert and others. thanks

• One places the download count directly below the download temurin button.
• The other places it below the adopters' Crousel section. Please take a look at both and share your thoughts on which one fits best Thanks

I'm not convinced about this change, whilst the number is a very big impressive number I don't think it's the primary reason people would download Temurin... We do already have the Adopters carousel on the top realestate of the page including the phrase "Temurin is trusted by millions, including these leading adopters".

I agree the download number isn’t the main reason people choose Temurin, but it’s a strong credibility signal. Showing it near the Download button helps new users and decision-makers quickly see Temurin’s scale and trust across the industry. It’s less about driving clicks and more about reinforcing confidence in choosing a proven, widely adopted solution.

I think the second screenshot works well, we can remove the blurb "powering millions worldwilde.."above the number since the adopters section already has a similar message. and make the number slightly smaller.

I think the screenshot from PR 413 makes a bit more sense. I agree that it's good to have the list of people using it first, and the numbers followed by the "These numbers show that we have a lot of people that rely on us - please help us to sustain the project as it's really import" directly underneath is a good approach.

I've got another related issue to raise about trying to make our infrastructure sponsors a bit more visible too, as it's good if we can give them a bit of publicity for what they give to us.
