Issue with teaser component

Hi Team,

I am writing to bring to your attention an issue we have encountered with the teaser component in our current AEM 6.5.16.0 environment.

Issue we are facing: When filling content under the description field of the core teaser component (core/wcm/components/teaser/v2/teaser) using bullet points, we have observed that the dots in the beginning disappear after submitting the dialogue.

Steps to Reproduce:

  1. Add the teaser component.
  2. Configure the description field with bullet points.
  3. Save the dialog.

Expected Result: The bullet points should be visible at the beginning of the description field after saving the dialog.

Actual Result: Unfortunately, the bullet points are not visible at the beginning of the description field after saving the dialog.

The Daycare team has also confirmed that they are able to reproduce the issue.

Environment

  • AEM version : 6.5.16
  • Core Components version : 2.20.8
  • JRE version: JAVA11
