How to generate the mask image ?

at the project page, I found the mask image is a binary mask that only have foreground and background, could you please tell me how to generate such type of mask ?

Hi @wadeok and @dbriard, feel free to use any of your favorite masking tool! This can be Photoshop, remove.bg or any other tool. The model will be able to refine the depth map as long as the mask has more details or is more accurate than the depth map. For the paper, we used remove.bg, Photoshop or masks generated by off-the-shelf segmentation models. Photoshop selection tools will work pretty well :)
