Potential Glyph Change for U+22ACF

Open hfhchan opened this issue 2 years ago • 1 comments

There is a request from HKSARG to update the glyph shape for U+22ACF to use a more common form image instead of existing image in IRG.

The request by HKSARG to change this glyph shape can be found at https://appsrv.cse.cuhk.edu.hk/~irg/irg/irg57/IRGN2508-Glyph-Change-Request-20210825.pdf.

Source Han Sans may want to prepare new glyphs in anticipation of this change targeting Unicode 15.9.

FYI, Chiron Sans HK already has the correct shape: image

(Actually, the glyph in the latest version of Chiron Sans HK now looks different. It is still compliant with HKSCS standard, but is a little bit different from the design adopted by Source Han Sans.)

Anyway, here is the interpolatable masters in case you may find useful: u22ACF-HK.zip
