Are you double-clicking + CTRL-C to copy?

You need to start zcashd manually in a terminal window and wait for it to sync. `zcashd` for MacOS is included in the distribution

Ah, yes. I hadn't though of this. I can make it always pick up the "from" field.

Are you running the v4.5.1 node externally or is it failing to start the embedded v4.5.1 node?

Also, are you using Linux?
