can't connect anyomre on Android 6

After upgrading OnePlus X to Android 6 the app can't connect to the band anymore. It shows the give access to media dialog on every startup, it displays the overlay dialog at every startup, but the app is not showing up in the overlay permission menu, it writes out "band connected" multiple time and after that the "can't connect" message. Nothing is showing up in sensors.
