Fluent-search can support search any of the UI-component for all windows app in the background

Describe the solution you'd like currently, only when the target window gets focused can I activate the in-app search for that app. However, that would be great if Fluent-search could support searching all UI-component for all white-list apps.

Additional context

  • When I find something interesting in Chrome, I can copy some of the content, then I would like to use Fluent-Search to quickly find my friend's name in WeChat, then Fluent-search helps me to call out WeChat, then I can paste the content and share, that would be convenient.
  • When I talk with my colleagues, I would like to find some information from my native-windows todo app, then I would like to use Fluent-Search to locate the result quickly I want for reference without opening the todo app first; it will help me to save lots of time.

@Sander-Chen that is possible if you enabled in-app content search in Settings -> Processes. You will see the UI elements as operations for process results and you can filter them using the normal tags (e.g. tab, button) - image

Thanks @adirh3 , I have enabled this option, I found that it's working with some app like:

  • Chrome
  • Clickup windows client However for the app like Foobar2000, it's not supported image

Only when I call out the in-app search feature(not the process search) with Foobar200 open, can the Fluent Search find out the name of some favariout songs. image

@Sander-Chen note that Fluent Search will know about new UI elements only after you switch away from that program. If something changed in the currently focused program, then you will need to use in-app search's dedicated hotkey.

@adirh3 I think I understood your feedback; I have doubled check, and when I switch away from that program and make the program can be seen in the front-end, I can still use in-app search(dedicated hotkey) to find the elements inside that program; However, when this program is minimized or covered by other programs, I can not use the in-app search to find the element.

I'm not sure whether it's possible to search any of the elements of all programs whether or not they are minimized or not shown in the desktop front-end; if it's possible, that would be cool:)
