[Feature request] Increase character limit

I have just composed a message for the people which use WhatsApp. Unfortunately the character limit is 500 characters. Is there a possibility to increase this limit?

Is there a technical background which only allows 500 characters?

Thanks @caminsha 👋😃 All tested messengers seemed to work well with 500 characters so went with it. Not having a limit might invite more issues like people might complain it is not working for some messenger. Will have to test with all messengers and will consider increasing it. Will add it to the queue but might take a while to get to it.

One tip until then is consider composing your message on https://telegra.ph or similar and share the URL instead. That will also help you include formatted text and images.

Example:

Hi, please contact me on <app-name>.

This is a pretty good argument to not increase the message length (for now).
