This sounds like the same issue I had. You need to restore a previous backup of Widevine.

Hello I have the same issue. I mean I click play on the movie title and I just watch the loading wheel. This is a fresh install of libreelec. I have had a first problem just because libreelec was not able to install widevine. Now this new bug on a fresh install. What should I do ?

You could probably downgrade your Widevine version. This however is not easy on a fresh install, because it only has downloaded the latest version. In InputStream Helper you have the ability to copy&paste a URL to an alternative Widevine, but someone has to offer it first. I am running Widevine 4.10.2449.0 (latest) without issue on a RPi4 though.

Another cause could be that your RPi has troubles downloading/playing 1080P. In that case maybe lower the maximum resolution(s) or maximum bandwidth settings.
