Start Debug Mode for already added files

  • VSCode Version: Any
  • OS Version: Any
  • Tomcat Extension Version: 8.5

Please add following features.

  1. Start in Debug Mode for already added war files.
  2. Add war package instead of Debug war package

+1 Yes please! So everytime I want to debug I have to wait ~10 minutes to be able to.

I don't know if I'm doing something wrong, but the time is very slow and I really want to use VSCode as my Java/Tomcat IDE.

@alminisl @wulfnb Suggest you use https://marketplace.visualstudio.com/items?itemName=redhat.vscode-community-server-connector which supports all the features in this extension.

This one seems promising, however I could not start it with my tomcat config that is in my repository folder. Do you maybe know if that is possible to change the Configuration path ?
