Since Snip is abandoned or not working properly can you rewrite it for Spotilocal?

I love your design and animations but Snip doesnt update tracks anymore or with 2 minutes delay. Today someone posted on Snips github that he worked on another solution called Spotilocal. No API requests, just a local grabber
