How do I translate the plugins/extensions?

So, for the core adapt_authoring, I know that we need to just translate en.json file to whatever we want.

But, could anybody please guide me on how can I translate plugins/extensions/components? (I only need to translate the official ones). So, please tell me what approach should I take, like which json should I translate? And what values are safe to translate. Thanks.

P.S: I'm really sorry if this is not the right place to ask this question. But, I don't really know of a better place. Please don't remove my post.
