Rule matches file that it should not

Open er4z0r opened this issue 14 years ago • 6 comments

I have created a rulte to regularly remove installers and other files I downloaded into my downloads folder.

Steps to reproduce:

  • Add Windows 7 Downloads folder
  • create new rule "Remove non docs"
  • if ALL of the following conditions are met: Extension matches one of exe, zip, iso, msi, part Date modified is not in the last 7 days send file to the recycle bin.
  • tick ask for confirmation
  • download some file of any of the above types
  • in the rule dialog click "Test" --> No matches found --> that is ok.
  • save the rule

Next time Belvedere runs it suddenly finds that the files you just downloaded match the rule. Allthough their date modified is clearly within the last 7 days.

OS: Windows 7 Enterprise Belvedere Version: 0.5

there was a bug in 0.5 with the 'is not in the last' verbs and will be fixed in 0.6. Thanks for pointing it out!

Thanks. Is there already a prebuild version of 0.6? If not, when will it be released?

you can get the latest copy of the source on my fork of Belvedere. we haven't set a date yet, but are looking to do so soon.
