Questions about the addon functionality

Hello! I’m interested in three questions:

Will this addon work on HomeAssistant Supervised? Does this addon only allow you to control the fan speed, or also functions related to on / off and control with an infrared remote control (like the original script)? In case of using this addon, the original script must be removed (or not installed)?
