Sometimes the File Manager becomes unresponsive.
Can't detect a pattern. Nothing shown in console. Attached gif shows multiple attempts to open a file using the context menu. Double-clicking also does not work. Typically, refreshing the list solves the problem, but in the case shown by the enclosed animation, the only solution was to reload the page
.
It's hard to know why as there are no errors in the console and I've not seen this myself. Check if you've enabled logging xmlhttprequest which might show if a request is being made.
If there's a consistent way to reproduce this, please let me know.
Activated Log XMLHttpRequests and will let you know if I discover anything else. It has happened a couple more times and, although I activated XMLHttpRequests, I saw no additional error messages. I am enclosing another example of the file mechanism becoming unresponsive. It applies to an entirely different function (uploading vs. opening), but I am adding it to this ticket because I think it might be a manifestation of the same issue.
