Support for creating collections instead of libraries
Any progress on this one?
eta on this?
@vinfam @dvdgorila Not really, will depend a lot on the weather this summer. :)
I prioritise features depending on my own needs though. Maybe you can sell me on this? I still find collections a bit too hidden away, at least if you use them to group movie sequels.
I hear that :-)
My issue is that I'm using the official Plex docker. I haven't figured a way to create the symlinks or execute python from the docker.
Enjoy your summer!
@dvdgorila Why not just run this directly on the host? Either that or setup a dedicated docker image.
yeah, I'm leaving towards creating my own docker. thanks!
update disregard, i've disabled show in dashboard.
Finally got this working. However, I'm getting duplicates, ie recently added movies. Any way to avoid that? Infuse is going ape shit.
I still think there is value is creating dynamic collections, especially if they can be shared with your friends etc. Mainly because you don't want the 'Libraries' view to become cluttered. Some main highlights will definitely be libraries, but other things I would definitely prefer as collections.
I would like this feature too
I'd love to see this feature if possible - for example the Olympics collection (Calgary '88: 16 Days of Glory) doesn't warrant an entire library just for those films, but would sit better within a collection. Plus, the collection would then be visible in single movie view...
Also would love this :) I want to create collections of movies/shows i recommend which i then can share on my shared users home screen.
