Zotero never does ETAs, but they've been making changes to the data model, so probably not too far out (I'd guess months, but that's just a guess)

there's no need to bump any of these--no Zotero field/item changes have been implemented since these issues were started.

Software is increasingly being cited http://blog.datacite.org/software-citation-workflows/ And both Mendeley and Zotero have computer program item types. This seems like an obvious addition.
