Should Safari still be listed?

When trying to install the Safari extension, I get the following message:

Safari no longer supports unsafe extensions. “Markdown Here” is no longer supported. You can find newer extensions reviewed by Apple in the App Store or Safari Extensions Gallery

Experiencing same issue. Looked into the work around, which basically means unpacking the extension and building it yourself.

I gets better:

Choose Develop > Allow Unsigned Extensions. The Allow Unsigned Extensions setting is reset when a user quits Safari; you must set it again the next time Safari is launched.

So even if you do build and install it, without a developer ID you have to re-authorize it every time you close Safari.
