Will safari's extension continued to be update?

I notice that Safari's extension is not up-to-date. Is its support dropped? And is it because Apple is start charging?

I ended up implementing a proper Safari Extension for markdown formatting and released it in the official Mac App Store:

And to answer your question, yes, being in the Mac App Store has significant recurring cost, hence why I put it for sale for the price of a lunch 🙏 I hope that's not an issue!

Also, since it's now a first-class citizen of the Apple ecosystem (being distributed by the official Mac App Store), you won't get any errors/warnings, aside from the regular permission request from Safari that every extension needs 😊
