Offline-Mode: Pico SD Card Log file creation crash

While doing the QMC Offline Mode PR #810 (offline v4 + PR) I found that the pico crashed while attempting to create the log file. Switching SD didn't help, and running on the S3 instead was fine with the same SD card.

There have been a couple of Earle core releases since so your mileage may vary...
