I2C address of the gyro

Hello,

I'm currently using the IMU10 DOF and it cannot detect the L3GD20.

The problem is that you're not giving the right address in your code: it's 0x69 instead of 0x6B.

@adafruit I encountered the same problem - it is not possible to connect via i2c. Neither the old version of the code nor the new one works. The i2c bus scanner determines the address as 0x69.

You can test it like this:

i2c address = 0x69 L3GD20_ID : 0xD3

Actually 0xD3 is the L3G4200D ID.

L3G4200D : Check for AGD8 markings on the surface of the IC. L3GD20 : Check for AGD2 markings on the surface of the IC.

L3GD20 is an upgraded version of L3G4200.
