ActivityPub interoperability for events

Description

Consistent feedback that we get about activist is that it would be good if the event system we're building was interoperable with ActivityPub. This would allow easier integration between activist with other platforms like Mobilizon as well as software like Event Federation. Getting event information from other platforms over to activist would also be easier if shared models were used.

The goal of this issue is to discuss the possibilities, with the focus being potentially linking between other platforms and activist to propagate events with permission from the organization and our community.

Note that the general plan for information scraping has been if we scrape from other platforms we will get the information as a proof of concept and then ask the organization if they'd like to make an account/organization and have us populate their events for them - not populate without checking with them and specifically our community as this would defeat the purpose of organization applications that are at our core.

With ActivityPub another option could be that the information is fully federated into activist with or without account creation. An organization application would still happen in in either case that would then trigger the federation on acceptance. In both cases the organization application would also be expanded where other sections of the organization profile or "profile" (entity linking in) would actually be active rather than just the application section - for example in the application process we could see events that are not yet active, but would be if accepted.

Contribution

Happy to discuss for now and support any potential implementation later :)

Note that there are other data standards that we could also include like Microformats and specifically hCalendar.
