If your feature will improve HUB
Upload IAM Words Dataset to Hub. The Dataset can be found at https://fki.tic.heia-fr.ch/databases/iam-handwriting-database
For more information please take a look at the docs on creating and uploading datasets.
Hi @kristinagrig06, can you please assign this issue to me?
Hey @bopardikarsoham, and thank you for your willingness to contribute! We'll have official support for text data next week, so you can work on this issue then. Please make sure that you upload the dataset in its entirety, changing as little as possible while converting it to Hub format. Once you upload the dataset, please send the path to the dataset (it would look something like this: hub://username/iam-words-dataset
), and we can verify its quality!
This one is still up for grabs!
Can I try working on this issue if nobody is assigned for it?
I went across the dataset on the website but it has many structures....so which structure exactly are you looking for?
@farizrahman4u @FayazRahman @mikayelh is this still up for grabs? I believe I can work on this.
Hi @brlrb. Sorry for the late reply. You can work on this if you're still interested.
I would like to work on this issue. Can you please elaborate?
@aryatalathi The issue is to upload the IAM Handwriting Dataset (which can be found here) into hub format. See our docs to find details on how to do this. Do ask here if you have run into any specific problems.
Okay! I will try my best. Can I start working on the same? Just need your approval.
hey @aryatalthi , thanks a lot for your contribution, and apologies for the late reply. I will highly suggest to join the Activeloop community slack (slack.activeloop.ai) - I will reach out to you and send some more resources and guidelines on dataset upload!
@mikayelh sure! I will consider joining the slack community. Thank you!
is this issue still up?
